...this wasn't quite what I had in mind:
-- Judge Larry Seidlin rules that the attorney for Anna Nicole Smith's infant daughter gets custody of the former model's body.
Dubaya invades another country, that's a breaking news e-mail. Terrorists launch an attack, send me a note please. But the custody of Anna Nicole Smith's body? Yeah, not so much my most trusted name in news friends. Recommend this Post on Progressive Bloggers

That'll learn ya!
Anna Nichol's daughter is legally the next of kin and the judge appointed a lawyer to be guardian and take care of the funeral on behalf of Danielyn in the Bahamas.
So, Stern, etc. have to come to an amicable agreement but the don't have the final say.
The judge felt Anna Nichol belongs beside her son - makes sense to me.
It's good to have a reminder now and then about how CNN is almost as crappy as Fox News.
Oh yeah? Well I spent Saturday morning watching CNN telling aout Britney's shaved head.
I actually get both Fox and Reuters alerts on my Treo and it makes me laugh sometimes.
The crap Fox News classifies as "breaking news" makes the service so much worthwhile.
Wolfe Blitzer is like a kid chasing a fire engine.
My only interest is the "legal" issues. I find that part interesting, but do I want it in my face 24/7 - no.
