Gerard Kennedy's question period debut

From Thursday's question period in the House of Commons, Parkdale-High Park MP and Liberal industry critic Gerard Kennedy asks his first questions, with response from finance minister Jim Flaherty.

Wow. Did Flaherty, when asked about what he's going to do to protect the jobs and livelihoods of average Canadians in Ontario just respond about how happy he is that 3 CON MPs at least have their jobs?
I'm just hoping fellow CON supporters have followed this gov't's lead - draining that rainy-day account for cousin Jacques and Francine's cottage repairs, ramped up their rentals of limousines, focus groups and Tired Cliches Inc, and made sure to tell all the rest in the household that "everything's alright. Except now. It was a good time to buy, and now we're in deficit. Or not, by hell and high water."
I guess they thank their lucky stars that Canwest and CTV are so willing to carry that koolaid...

On the other hand, looking at GK in the house all I can say is, "that's the kind of leadership i can believe in..."
