I don't follow Sandi. You're say for the purpose of getting free treatment, and then running out on the bill?
Seems unlikely. If they're here vacationing and get hit by a car, sure, they get treated in the ER and we need to track them down with the bill.
But someone's not going to come up here with a chronic or existing condition, get treatment and then run home. That's unlikely, and not really feasible.
I've listened to his interview on CNN yesterday. I've also said on twitter that it would be a complete waste of time. The very same evening I was listening to talk radio in the U.S. and guess what? They were already calling Canada a socialist country how bad our health system it really is. Telling Americans,is that what you really want for a health care system? They were just repeating all the false hoods about our system. I'll bet if you go on the street in the U.S. today and ask if they saw the interview on CNN no-one will knows what the heck you were talking about.
My point is that the peoples in the U.S.who are for health care reform are still going to be for reform and the ones who are against health reform are still going to spread all kinds of false hoods about our system how we are a socialist country.
Listen to some of these talk radio not just the host of the shows but also the callers. Even some of the democrats in their senate are worried that they may lose their seats if they vote for this bill.
I don't have any hope that there will be any kind of reform in the U.S. The health bill that will end up on Pres.Obama's desk in my opinion will be a water down bill that will not look much different what they have at the moment. In conclusion the CNN interview did nothing to correct the false hoods being spread around in the U.S. because it's still continuing. I commend Mr.Dosanjh for trying, but no-one is home.

And, how many Americans come up to Canada believing it's free and leave millions of dollars owing....
