Romney a big spender

We talk a lot about money in politics, and certainly fundraising and spending was much discussed during the last Liberal leadership race. The news below however just shows again how in the U.S. they’re in a whole other ballpark. Or at least Mitt Romney is:

The former Massachusetts governor has spent $1.16 million per delegate, a rate that would cost him $1.33 billion to win the nomination.

Of course, those are American dollars…
